Recent rumours and speculation have stated that Clash of Clans, one of the most popular mobile games, may soon be delisted and subsequently cancelled. Is Clash of Clans being removed from iPhone and Androids? There have been rumours going around online about a strategy game that was produced by Supercell that it would supposedly be cancelled and rendered unavailable in the next year.

These rumours have been spreading online. However, will the mobile strategy game Clash of Clans be removed from the Google Play Store for Android devices and the Apple App Store for iPhones using the iOS operating system?

As will be explained in more depth in the sections that follow, Clash of Clans will stop being updated and will be pulled from all online markets in 2022.

Clash of Clans Delisting: Is the app closing down on Android and iPhone?

There are currently no plans to take Clash of Clans off the iPhone (iOS) or Android platform in the year 2022. It is possible that the Clash of Clans application will continue to be playable on mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets since it will not be withdrawn from the shops that support it.

Customers of Clash of Clans using older versions of the iOS and Android operating systems will no longer get support from the company. Users whose operating systems have a version of iOS or Android that is older than 11 or 5, will no longer be able to play Clash of Clans after the game’s next winter update.

This will take effect immediately after the update. The core gameplay component of Clash of Clans will not be taken down and will continue to function as usual.

Players on both mobile platforms have been told with regret by Supercell that this modification was made due to “technical issues beyond [their] control.” Supercell said that the reason for this adjustment was “technical problems beyond [their] control.”

The game was created by Supercell, which was the developer. This kind of behaviour is very common for mobile games that are still being played, despite the fact that it might be somewhat unsettling.

When new content is introduced, it’s possible that older equipment (and the software that goes along with it) may have difficulties keeping up with the additional demands put on it.

Find out all you need to know about how Clash of Clans is going to cease supporting versions of operating systems that are older than iOS 11 or Android 5.0 right here. You won’t be able to play the game once this change takes effect.

This includes instructions on how to update to a new operating system version on both the iPhone and Android platforms. Of course, this is based on the assumption that the device in question really fulfils the qualifications for either of the software versions.

You may put your worries to rest now that you know the online game Clash of Clans will not be taken down in 2022. It is also not going to be taken down from the App Store or the Google Play Store any time in the near future.

However, in order to continue playing the online strategy game, some players may discover that they need to update or replace the mobile device (or devices) that they are currently using in order to continue playing the game.
